It is a good idea to photo-document...Great photos! It is a good idea to photo-document stained glass windows in public buildings. I usually make a map of the building denoting which windows went in each opening. I also try to get close up detail photos of the windows especially the memorial inscriptions. If I find a signature which can sometimes only be a symbol, I photograph that too.
