Backlit West window, Kendal Parish Church, Kendal

Kendal Parish Church

At long last, the refurbished West window in Kendal Parish Church has had its lights fitted. This means that this wonderful window can be seen from the opposed to the normal viewing position for stained glass windows (from the inside) I only had a few minutes to take these few grainy photos before the lights were turned sorry for the poor quality.

The vibrancy of the colours is still plain to see, but I'll have to go back at some point to get some better photos. Here's the link to the photos of the windows from within the confines of the tower. Refurbished window photos.
